600 Mw unit of Anpara C toget operational tomorrow

The second unit of Anpara-C plant promoted by Hyderabad-based Lanco Kondapalli is likely to start its operations from Tuesday. The project had its first unit of similar capacity in operational stage in earlier October. The unit is proposed to be formally dedicated to the people of Uttar Pradesh by chief minister Mayawati on November 12. On Sunday, a team of officials from UP Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) visited the site to assess the situation.
