C.M. grieved over sudden demise of BSP MLA Taufeeq Ahmad

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Ms. Mayawati has expressed profound grief over the sudden demise of BSP MLA from Dumariaganj Assembly Constituency (Siddharthnagar), Mr. Taufeeq Ahmad. Mr. Ahmad was 61 years old and he remained MLA twice. After getting the information about the sudden death of Mr. Ahmad, the Chief Minister Ms. Mayawati visited his residence at village Bitharia (Tehsil Dumariaganj) and paid her homage. On this occasion, PWD Minister Mr. Naseemuddin Siddiqui accompanied her.
Ms. Mayawati said that Mr. Ahmad had a clean image and he was a popular leader. In his death, the party had lost a committed worker and a responsive MLA. He always remained aware with the problems of the people and his constituency. She (herself), her government and BSP were with the family at this tragic moment. She directed Mr. Siddiqui to remain there till the last rites of late Ahmad completed.
The Chief Minister prayed for peace to the departed soul and conveyed her heartfelt condolences and deep sympathies to the family members, well-wishers and friends of the deceased.
