Absconding SP MLA arrested in UP minister attack case

Absconding SP MLA Vijay Mishra, who was allegedly involved in last year’s attack on UP cabinet minister Nand Gopal Nandi, was today arrested by Special Task Force in Delhi, a senior officer said here. Uttar Pradesh government had announced an award of Rs 2.5 lakh on the arrest of Mishra, who has 62 cases, including 15 of murder and seven of attempt to murder, registered against him in Bhadohi, Allahabad and Mirzapur. 3.12 crore for providing temporary shelter, food, clothes and medical facilities to poor, destitute and shelter less people

On the directives of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Ms. Mayawati ji, an amount of Rs. 3.12 crore has been released for all the DMs of the State, so that they could make arrangement to provide relief to the poor and destitute from the cold wave prevailing all over the State. 2 lakh as financial assistance to family members of deceased in Deoria firing

The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Ms. Mayawati ji has directed the officers to provide financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh to the family members of deceased during the firing incident in Deoria.
